Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage Co., Ltd. was founded in June 2005 by Jiangsu Overseas Group Co., Ltd of Jiangsu Provincial Government State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. The registered asset of the company reaches CNY 200 million and the investment reaches CNY 530 million. As one of the first batch of provincial companies entering modern logistics industry, the company shoulders the transformation responsibilities of the Jiangsu Overseas Group Co., Ltd. The company has 300 thousand cube meters’ storage capabilities and mainly offers third-party warehousing services of liquid chemicals and non-hazardous chemicals with high added value including alcohols, acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and oils. Adopting integrated deployment, the dock storage tank area of Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage is 436 meters long and the designed capacity reaches 3.41 million tons, which makes it the largest separate chemical dock in the basins of the Yangtze River. The waterline is 14.5 meters and the average water depth in a year is 15 meters. The external dock area has 2 berths (3 berthing points) available for one 50000-ton ship (oil tanker) at the maximum and one 40000-ton ship and one 20000-ton ship at the same time, which solves the problem of delay. The internal block area has 3 berths available for 500-ton ships. Moreover, the company sets set a pipeline system with the four-layer frame and 30 process pipelines specific for the dock to ensure quality.

Among the 70 storage stations and 70 storage tanks, 20 are stainless steel tanks, and 50 are carbon steel tanks. Dome roof tanks with nitrogen seal and internal floating plate with nitrogen seal are two major designs. There are 6 storage tanks with structural design pressure of 15KPa (low-pressure tanks), 29 tanks with structural design pressure of 6KPa, and 35 tanks with structural design pressure of 2KPa, which provides safe, effective, and low-loss storage services to liquid chemicals and oils of all kinds.
