In order to implement Notice on Work Arrangement from New Year’s Day to Spring Festival issued by provincial party committee and provincial government, Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage held oath-taking ceremony themed by “strengthen epidemic control for work safety” on 6th January in 2021, aiming to control the epidemic in a comprehensive and unified way and keep the operation stable and safety. Leaders of the company, staff from all departments (except employees on duty and shift workers), and some SGS employees participated the ceremony.

Sun Chengli, general manager of the company, emphasized that the battle against the disease has entered the critical period in front of the new round of epidemic. Stable operation, high efficiency, and safety would always be important for everyone in the company. And epidemic control was as significant as work safety. The company would focus on the following three points.

01 Stand on a Higher Political Stance and Fulfill Social Responsibilities

Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage would study and implement requirements from government and superior departments, guide the thoughts and actions of the company in sync with the decision and deployment of provincial party committee, provincial government, group party committee, and company party branch, and make sure that all requirements and arrangements were strictly followed and obeyed. Everyone in the company should not forget where it started and stay true to its missions. Moreover, the company always focused on work safety and highlighted the epidemic control, thus ensuring every piece of work is safe and stable. 

02 Strengthen Accountability Mechanism and Construct Firm Fortress

All departments of the company should stand fast to the bottom line and cultivate the awareness of “three if”, implement the accountability mechanism of work safety in an all-round way, and strengthen the organization and guidance of epidemic control and work safety. Every department must undertake entity responsibilities and primary responsibilities and fulfill their responsibilities on the positions with all their hearts. The company would strictly abide by epidemic control requirements and implement control measures comprehensively. Technology center needed to improve the maintenance works and guarantee the stable operation of equipment. Business department needed to actively expand customers scale and sales channels. Office needed to provide sufficient logistic supports during the festivals. “One party branch is one fortress, and one party member is one flag”. The company would take full use of the political advantages, organization advantages, and the close connection with the people of party branches and members and mobilize, organize, and unify people at a wide range. Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage would eventually acquire the victory of the battle. 

03 Respond Government’s Call and Follow Company’s Directions

All employees in the company would respond government’s call and follow company’s directions, preventing any risks or troubles and actively devoting to the epidemic control and work safety. Employees should visit no other places apart from home and the company, avoid gatherings, never visit infected areas, keep distance from people who once stayed in infected areas, carry out epidemic control measures, and follow the unified arrangement. In this way, all works would be coordinative and ordered.
