“40℃” Plus “367.6mm”
Double Test of High Temperatures and Torrential Rain
Since the beginning of the Dog Days, high temperatures and torrential rain have taken turns on the stage.
Just as the orange rainstorm warning was lifted,
an orange high-temperature warning has arrived.
However, there is a group of people who fear neither wind nor rain and work under the scorching sun.
They fight on the frontlines, dedicating themselves to their duties, no matter how hot it is.
They come from different departments and positions,
but they share a common name:
“JOCers” .
I. Facing the “Roasting Hot” Challenge, and Safeguarding Normal Operations
Under the scorching sun, they face the “roasting hot” challenge while working at great heights and on the frontlines. They roll up their sleeves, showing unwavering determination and great passion. Their blue work uniforms are branded with white imprints. With high spirits, they ensure the smooth operation of the site... They are the unsung heroes who dedicate themselves, and they are the most beautiful guardians in ordinary positions...
The sight of these “workers under high temperatures” can be seen everywhere, representing the touching moments of this summer. Their perseverance and dedication are the best embodiment of “devotion to their work”.
II. Responding to Floods and Building a Solid Safety Line
In various frontline teams,
they act swiftly with the torrential rain as the signal.
Each employee fulfills their duties in their respective positions,
actively responding to any potential situations that may arise.
Rainfall signals the call to action, and flood conditions become the command.
JOCers respond promptly,
carrying out various flood prevention measures in a timely manner.
They did a good job in flood prevention,
and ensured the safe and high-quality storage of customer goods.
After heavy rainfall, the cargo loading and unloading becomes a crucial and high-risk process prone to accidents. To eliminate potential hazards, the dispatch platform intensified standardized and regulated inspections of loading and unloading vehicles. They conducted comprehensive inspections on various aspects with strict attention and carefulness, including valve positions, oil spill alarm systems, emergency shut-off valves, etc. Throughout the loading and unloading process, operating personnel provided continuous supervision, strictly controlling the flow of vehicles to ensure safety within the safe limits.
As the warehouse area is located in a low-lying area prone to rainwater backflow, everyone braved the rain to help. Although their bodies were soaked from head to toe and the water rose to knee level, they bended over and tirelessly carried sandbags to prevent the rain into the warehouse with no complaints. They showed no sign of hesitation, even if they were covered with mud and water. After over an hour of relentless effort, they successfully blocked the water, constructing a safety “dam” at the entrance of the warehouse area using more than 30 sandbags. They have built a protective wall, ensuring the safety of operations in the warehouse area.
