On September 13th, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (hereinafter referred to as “ZCE”) issued an announcement on the designated caustic soda futures delivery warehouses (plants), with Jiangsu JOC Chemical Storage Co., ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “JOC”) being among the designated warehouses. Futures delivery warehouses serve as a vital link between the futures market and the spot market, and is a crucial component of the commodity industry and supply chain, playing roles such as being a “connector” and a “radiating pivot” in the process of serving the real economy in the futures market.
The caustic soda futures listed on the ZCE have high demands on independent storage companies in terms of management teams, storage facilities, storage conditions, and handling capabilities. JOC has become one of the first designated delivery warehouses, which not only demonstrates the high level of recognition our company has received for our quality control and comprehensive supply chain services by ZCE and various stakeholders in the industry, but also signifies a solid step forward in promoting innovation towards achieving stability in quality, price, and supply of the caustic soda industry chain.
In the future, JOC will continue to provide reliable delivery services in strict accordance with ZCE’s management regulations. Furthermore, we will deepen our collaboration with ZCE, expand the categories of warehouses for bulk commodity delivery, and lead upstream and downstream enterprises to participate in the delivery of caustic soda futures. This will inject new vitality into improving the quality and efficiency of production and operation, contribute to regional industry supply and demand adjustments, and reduce holding costs for spot market participants, thereby contributing our expertise as a state-owned enterprise.
