Chairman Huang Hongliang led team to Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage for special safety inspection before 100th anniversary of the founding of CPC on 18th in June, aiming to draw a lesson from the explosion accident in Shiyan city of Hubei province and create stable and safe work environment for the 100th anniversary. Shi Xianzhao, member of group party committee and group vice president, Liang Jinhai, general manager of group investment department, Huang Dehua, standing deputy general manager of Litian P&C Terminal, Zhang Ming, senior technology manager, and general manager office of Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage accompanies the visit.
At the symposium, general manager Sun Chengli reported the recent safety management of the company to the inspection team. Strictly following instructions from the group, Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage continuously strengthened the construction of safety production responsibility system and undertake the entity responsibility of work safety in this year. Five storage tanks have been transformed, the dock reinforcement project was completed, and “five-in-one” major construction and upgrading projects were implemented. Moreover, the company also organized employee safety check, “double-zero” departure platform collaborative construction, “fire-fighting system N+ section”, and other activities in a creative way, strengthening the foundation of work safety.
Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage and Litian P&C Terminal sent experts to the other company and inspect potential risks in order to promote work safety together via mutual inspection.
Chairman Huang stressed that there would be no end to work safety. It was very necessary to profoundly draw a lesson from Hubei gas explosion accident and launch "comprehensive investigation and rectification" of work safety. The company should start the investigation right now, solve problems without hesitation, and fully shoulder its responsibilities. As the benchmark of the Group's work safety, Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage should give full play to its advanced exemplary role, and come up with new plans in the implementation of the party branch safety responsibilities and the investigation of accident losses.
