On 27th September, Shi Xianzhao, member of group party committee and group vice president inspected work safety and epidemic control of Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage before the National Day. General manager office of the company and leaders of related departments accompanied the inspection.
Vice president Shi first listened to the report on the company's "double control", work safety, and epidemic prevention and control before the National Day. He also conveyed the guiding principles of the special conference on work safety and epidemic control of provincial enterprises, the speech spirit of Peng Xiangfeng, the first-level inspector of the Jiangsu Provincial Government State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and the five requirements put forward during the inspection of group work safety and epidemic control on 26th by Ning Wu, deputy director of Jiangsu Provincial Government State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. Vice president Shi proposed four requirements for the current work of the company.
1. Administrative and supervision departments should attach great importance to the epidemic prevention and control. Getting ready for the protracted battle against the epidemic, the company should focus on the prevention of imported cases and epidemic control of cargo and employees. Persistence and perseverance are critical in the battle against the disease.
2. Make alternative plans and emergency response plans for the security and environment protection risks brought by the “double control” including power failure, water shortage, and natural gas cut.
3. Implement president Xi’s important speeches and instruction on work safety and epidemic control. And strengthen the promotion and learning of Work Safety Law.
4. Inspect and wipe out all kinds of hidden dangers in safety. The company should organize a comprehensive inspection to figure out and solve problems before the National Day.
Vice president Shi later visited the storage tank area, pump house, departure platform, sewage treatment station, barrel shed room, and operation areas. He inspected and inquired one by one about the technical renovation project, the rectification of electrical equipment insulation performance, the construction of "double zero-error" team for equipment maintenance repair and departure platform, rain water and sewage diversion and wastewater treatment, and the optimization of greening in the storage area.
Vice president Shi particularly reiterated that the company must pay attention to the construction quality and raw material procurement, strengthen the zero-error training and assessment departure platform operation, and continue to invest in work safety and environmental protection transformation. In this way, the company may truly acquire the victories in the battle of safety and environmental protection transformation and upgrading. In view of hazardous waste warehouse, oleander in the storage area, and other problems which may cause fire and other risks, vice President Shi proposed for high standards and stricter management. The company should consider from the perspectives of safety and landscaping and optimize the greening in the storage area.
