On 14th October in 2021, Shell China expert team visited Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage for an on-site comprehensive systemic evaluation lasting for two days. Captain Zhang Hemin, security manager Li Wei, project manager Liu Bin, quality control manager Zou Binglu, and business development manager Li Jianxi were the members of the expert team.
Leaders of the company and relevant departments attached great importance to this evaluation. Deputy general manager and chief engineer Huang Fuguang, deputy general manager Xi Jilin, and deputy manager of safety and environmental protection department Chen Kaijian received the review experts with the warmest welcome. All relevant departments actively cooperated with the expert team. Through on-site review, statistics review, and inquiry, the review experts carefully inspected and evaluated hundreds of documents including cargo storage process scheme, equipment and facilities, process configuration and parameters, pipeline process, emergency management plan, and personnel emergency management training.
After the evaluation, experts approved the “three ones” and “three in one” management concepts. They confirmed that the management system is ordered, effective, and powerful enough to satisfy demands of cargo storage. Shell China may cooperate with Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage about gasoline, diesel, mixed oil of industrial level, biodiesel, and other products in a deep level in the future. The company’s warehouse may be the primary choice for Shell China. This would be another successful cooperation with top 500 enterprises worldwide for Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage. Meanwhile, experts also pointed out the defects as well as improvement suggestions.
Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage would take this review as an opportunity to further optimize and standardize various management systems, continuously improve the software and hardware management system with higher requirements in terms of safety, environmental protection and operation, and continuously improve the service level and quality of the company.
