Vice Mayor of Taizhou City Liu Hao Visited Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage and Inspected the Epidemic Control of Waterway Port and Work Safety

Liu Jiangming, vice secretary of city government, and directors from transportation bureau emergency response bureau, education bureau, fire and rescue department, epidemic control office, China Medical City (CMC for short, also known as Gaogang district), and logistic industrial park also participated the inspection. Sun Chengli who is the general manager of Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage accompanied the inspection.

Vice mayor Liu visited the dock and inspected the epidemic control of foreign cargo and work safety. General manager Sun reported the conditions of the company. She mentioned that as a stated-owned company at the provincial level, Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage always braved to shoulder political responsibilities and thoroughly implement epidemic control measures. All employees in the company have received two doses of vaccines and the company was actively promoting the third dose of vaccine. Workers on the dock received nucleic acid detection every three days. Ship-shore interface control was strictly implemented. The company disinfected operation areas in time, and collected, stored, and disposed medical wastes every two days. In terms of work safety, in order to reduce risks, the company actively optimized the structure of business in recent years and replaced risky cargo to effectively reduce safety risks.

Vice mayor Liu emphasized that Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage must thoroughly implement the unified epidemic control deployment of CMC government and always stay vigilant and alerted as a company involving in international voyage and ship operation. If infection cases appear, the company should stop operation at once and control the epidemic with the highest standards and strictest measures. The company must prioritize security and survival above anything else and spare no effort to ensure no accidents occur.
