In order to deepen the education of history of CPC and put forward the practices of benefiting staff in a concrete way, the party branch of Jiangsu Joc Chemical Storage organized a diet and health management themed lecture, which is the 41st lesson of red night school, based on annual physical examination reports of the staff on 25th November. The lecture would improve employees’ awareness of healthy diet and build up the concepts of health diet in their mind.
Doctor Xia explained the management requirements of dietary health from dietary guidelines and weight management for Chinese residents. The lectures focused on the factors affecting health, the relationship between unhealthy lifestyles and chronic diseases, and how to eat reasonably. This lecture advocated balanced diet, less salt and oil, along with sugar control and alcohol restriction to employees and encouraged them to cultivate scientific and healthy lifestyles and behavior habits. In addition, the lecture also introduced new dietary fashions such as sharing meals and using public spoons and chopsticks.
After the lecture, the clinical nutritionist discussed with some employees about indicators involved in this year's physical examination report and offered health advice to employees one-to-one. In addition, the nutritionist also had a detailed exchange with the chef on the diet in the staff restaurant.
